Denture Problems We Solve

We treat patients across Sydney dealing with a range of denture-related issues:

Loose or ill-fitting dentures

Dentures that move, rock, or require adhesive to stay in place. Usually the result of bone resorption changing the fit over time. A reline, rebase, or new denture can restore proper retention.

Dentures that don’t look right

Wrong tooth shade, unnatural positioning, poor facial support. These are design problems that affect how you feel every time you look in the mirror or talk to someone. Well-designed dentures should look like they belong in your mouth.

Embarrassment or avoidance

Many patients come to us after years of putting up with poor dentures. If your dentures are affecting how you eat, speak, or engage socially, that’s a functional problem with a practical solution.

Speech changes

Slurring, lisping, or clicking sounds often indicate the denture isn’t seated correctly or the tooth positioning needs adjustment.

Sore spots and gum irritation

Dentures that rub, pinch, or cause ulcers need adjustment. This is a fit problem, not something to live with.

Broken or damaged dentures

Cracks, fractures, broken teeth, and snapped clasps. We offer same day denture repair for most issues (book before 10am where possible).

Difficulty chewing or eating

Usually caused by bite alignment issues, poor fit, or worn denture teeth. We assess the cause and address it directly.

Our Services

A Denture Experience Tailored to You

We believe dentures should feel comfortable, not like a compromise. At D3 Clinic, we combine personalised care with the latest denture technology to deliver smile solutions that restore confidence, improve daily comfort, and help you feel like you again. Whether you’re facing total tooth loss, need a simple repair, or are ready for a long-term solution, no problem is too small or too complex for our team to help.

Complete Dentures

Custom-made replacement for all teeth in the upper jaw, lower jaw, or both. Also known as false teeth or dental plates. Available in Premium and Digital tiers.

Partial Dentures

Acrylic, chrome, and flexible options for replacing some missing teeth.
Single tooth dentures (flipper dentures) also available.

Immediate Dentures

Pre-made dentures fitted on the day of tooth extraction so you are not without teeth during healing.

Same Day Denture Repairs

Cracked bases, broken teeth, snapped clasps, loose fits. Most repairs completed the same day (book before 10am where possible).

Denture Relines & Adjustments

Restoring the fit of dentures that have become loose due to bone and tissue changes. Soft relines, hard relines, and full rebases.

Denture remake

Wrong shade, unnatural positioning, poor facial support — these are design problems, not cosmetic fussiness. A well-made denture should look like it belongs in your face.

Replacement dentures

Dentures last 6–10 years. After that the teeth wear and the fit drifts. A replacement built to your jaw as it is now usually makes more sense than continued adjustment.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Dentures that clip onto dental implants (snap on dentures, snap in dentures, clip on dentures) for patients who need greater stability than conventional dentures can provide.

Digital Denture Design

Digitally designed and precision-milled from a single block of high-density acrylic for improved strength, accuracy, and a permanent digital backup.

What our Clients Say

Our Method — Diagnose, Design, Deliver

For new dentures, most cases are completed in 3 to 5 appointments. With digital workflows, some cases can be finalised in as few as 3.

Diagnose — Consultation & Assessment

Every case starts with understanding the problem. At your free, no-obligation consultation, we assess your current situation, identify the specific issues, and discuss what you need. If you’re ready to proceed, we can begin clinical work the same visit. This includes a thorough oral assessment, digital scans or impressions, photographs, and bite analysis. Family members and carers are welcome.

Design — Collaborative Development

We design your dentures with your involvement — tooth shape, shade, arrangement, and bite. Aesthetics matter here: we position teeth to support your facial structure, match your age, and create a natural appearance. You participate in a trial fitting to assess fit, function, and how the dentures look. This is a collaborative step — we want your feedback on how they feel, how they look, and what you’d like to adjust. Most patients have specific concerns at this stage, and this is where they’re addressed together before the final version is made.

Deliver — Fitting & Aftercare

Your completed dentures are fitted, refined, and adjusted to ensure comfort, stability, and function. We verify your bite, assess speech and appearance, and make any final refinements needed for a good result.

For digital dentures, treatment can often be completed in as few as three appointments. Follow-up reviews and aftercare appointments are included to support long-term comfort and adaptation.

The D3 Guarantee

Every denture fabricated at D3 Clinic is backed by The D3 Guarantee — a 2-year guarantee covering defects in materials and fabrication. If a problem arises from our work within this period, we address it at no additional cost.

This covers structural and material defects — not damage from drops, accidents, normal wear over time, or changes to your mouth that affect fit .

FAQs

Common Denture Questions, Answered

Dentures are custom-made removable appliances that replace missing teeth. Common names include false teeth, dental plates, and teeth plates. Types include complete dentures (replacing all teeth), partial dentures (replacing some teeth), and implant-supported dentures (clipping onto dental implants for added stability).

If your dentures are loose but structurally intact, a reline or adjustment may be sufficient. If they are cracked, worn, or repeatedly breaking, replacement is usually more practical. Dentures typically need replacing every 6 to 10 years. We assess this during your consultation and recommend the most cost-effective solution.

Costs vary by type and complexity. We provide transparent all-inclusive quotes during your free, no-obligation consultation. Interest-free payment plans, HICAPS on-the-spot claiming, and superannuation access may also be available 2014 ask us for details.
